I am considering buying a NH TC33D with a 1012 loader and a 7500 Backhoe. How does the 1012 stack up against the NH 7308 and the 7500 against the NH 757C? Power, strength, durability. I will be using the machine to do some of thelighter excavating for a new house (driveway work, landscaping, etc.) Iam also interested in knowing how easy it is, or isn't, to attach anddetach these implements compared to the NH implements.

Don't know about the Woods, but can't imagine ANY loader being easier to get on and off than the 7308. I used to have a Yanmar with a supposedly "quick" detach loader, and it sucked--had to use a block-and-tackle to the rafters more times than I'm happy remembering. But I'm negotiating for a tractor right now, so could you let me know the reasons for considering the Woods? ....

Rick, thanks for the reply. I am considering the Woods loader because the NH 7308 is rated for 800lbs of lift capacity while many of the other brands (Kubota and Deere)in this same class are closer to 1000lbs. The Woods is rated at 1200lbs. ....

Hi guys, I have been looking at tractors and loaders for the past couple of months and liked the woods loader for the same reason you mentioned. When I questioned the dealer on it he said the ford/NH loaders are rated according to the tractor it is to be mounted on and the woods is the max rating. I just bought a used NH 1920 w/7108 loader and the dealer says it should handle around 1100 lbs. But that is his word I haven't seen any specs. I also liked the bucket linkage on the woods...wish NH had that........Jim Brooks ....

i have a NH 1520, 23hp the loader with it is rated at 800 lbs, this tractor has the same footprint as the boomer you are talking about, if you are planning on lifting 1200 lbs, you better have some serious counter weights or you will stand that tractor on its nose. i havent found anything that big to lift so far. it will handle a full bucket of limestone, and yes i have stood mine on its nose once or twice, nothing serious but the rear wheels were off the ground.

I agree with Al. I have a TC25D with 7308 loader and I couldn't imagine trying to lift 1200lbs with the loader without damaging the tractor. I had some trees delivered to my property last spring that the nursery says weighed around 900lbs with the root-ball. The loader had no problem moving them around but the front end of the tractor was squating quite a bit more than I'd like. ....

This topic has been covered before; Check the archives! New Holland loader ratings are based on the tractor it is put on(hydraulic pressure). My TC33D load rating is 1050 lbs.(from the service manual). It also gives recomended counter wieght loads.
